There seems to be a bit of a theme at the moment for elevator gossip making it onto Twitter. First there was the @CondeElevator account which supposedly posted snippets of gossip overheard in the publisher's lifts and now we have @GSElevator doing the same from within Goldman Sachs!
In an anonymous interview with the New York Times Deal Book, the Tweeter claims to be a real life Goldman Sachs front-office investment banker with time to kill while transactions are down due to market volatility and the summer holiday season.
Is it a hoax? Will the account last long - doubt it. Who cares anyway.
